New fan of LC Racing

I've recently gotten back into the hobby. I had a Mini 8ight that I liked but wanted to try rebuild it. I couldn't find many parts for it, but kept hearing about LC Racing's kits. I decided to give it a shot.

When I got the kit, I just finished building a reflex 14b kit, which was quite the task. The manual for the LC racing is leaps and bounds better than the Associated kit. (I feel like Associated just pulled some pages from the RTR manual and added a few things for the kit.) The LC Racing kit has everything labelled, and the manual felt like hand holding comparison.

The motor that comes in this kit is very strong. You can tell by the amount effort it takes to turn the shaft of it. The esc is perfectly adequate for it as well. In comparison to the mini 8ight, this is what Losi should follow if they decide to return with a new mini. I know this is truggy, but I feel tempted to make my mini 8ight a shelf queen, and purchase a buggy as well.

Hobby Addicts does a good job of letting you know what you need, when purchasing a kit. If I decide to get a buggy(and SCT) I will come back here.

Love this kit!

I've been building RC car kits (mostly AE) for over 30 years, and this is one of the nicest kits I've ever built. I have never heard of LC racing till just a few months ago. I was very impressed with the quality of the parts, and how easily everything went together. I love that it's a kit, that comes with everything except for the receiver/radio. Hobby addicts has been great for getting things shipped out quickly. They have a very happy new customer..
